I took advantage of ProfiHunt's offer to jump into the last car of the trip to extract Cantabrian chamois. There were two days left to hunt until Madrid, taking into account the observance of all formalities and heavy logistics, in modern realities. The last day of hunting was 15.11. And there was the day of departure. In Sheremetyevo I met our esteemed teammate Yuri Viktorovich Vasilyev while whiling away the time before departure. He was flying to Africa. The waiting time flew by quickly. It turned out, we were flying on the same flight to the UAE. In the Emirates, the conversations continued))) We wished each other good luck on the hunt, and went on our flights. The representative of the company waited me in Madrid, then there was the registration of a permit for a rented weapon, and departure to the hunting lands. The road to the place took four hours. After arrival, I offered to go hunting right away, and not to waste time. We were driving by car, and observing the slopes. We saw a group of chamois and started climbing, that took about two hours. Unfortunately, there was no trophy in that group. At the beginning of twilight, we began to return. The next day was more successful. A ascend took about an hour, and a male was found. I shot from a distance of 220 meters at a decent angle up. Many thanks to the Profit Hunter team for the cool organization of this adventure, which did not end with the extraction of this trophy!!!!

In early November, I came to Kyrgyzstan to hunt with a friend. Initially, there were no plans to get a sheep, but the outfitter made an offer that I could not refuse).  As a result, the ram was got. The caliber of 300 was the norm, the distance was 430 meters. It was not particularly difficult, I took medications for normal well-being in the highlands. Everything was fine. The weather was a stable minus. We didn't walk a lot but used horses.

Hunting took place in North Ossetia in a private hunting farm "Afsati Fund". The place was the Karmadon Gorge. It was even dark, when in the early morning we went to the foot of the rocks and began to view the mountains with a thermal imager. It was not possible to find anything worthwhile, and we began to climb in order to climb to the intended location of the animals by dawn. And so it happened, we found a group of Chamois with four animals when dawn broke. They all had perspective horns. The distance was about 700 meters. We decided to come closer, and overcame the gorge. The chamois had moved somewhere by that time, then we decided to go further, to the neighboring gorge. When we came to it, they were not there, although an hour ago we saw how the goats were playing and running down the slope. We decided to make a halt and wait, if they would appear. But nobody came. Our guide Murat went to inspect the gorge down below us and found Chamois in the woods below us. The distance from us was ~ 263 meters, he measured the distance with a rangefinder, the device determined the correction taking into account the angle of inclination down to 34 degrees The distance was not great, but it was inconvenient to shoot, almost with the hands. We were at 2200 meters. The mountains there, were not high but very steep! I decided to take a chance and fired! The chamois jumped up and disappeared behind the slope in the bushes! We started to go down the slope and search for the trophy . We found a Chamois in the bushes, which stopped its fall. Hurray! I got the trophy! It became a seven-year-old goat with horns of 20.5 cm, not a record, but quite a trophy specimen of the "Mid Caucasian Chamois"! I am infinitely glad that the goal has been achieved and we are with the trophy! Carbine 300wm, NormaTip strike 11.7 gr Pim. Hunting was of medium difficulty; the farm was excellent.

I hunted in North Ossetia, very close to the so-called "gates" of the Karmadon gorge. I shot at my trophy on the very first day, at a distance of 434 meters, and got a male Caucasian chamois. The trophy was certainly not outstanding, but what Avshati sent. He is the patron saint of hunters of Ossetia. I will improve the result next time.The next day I acted as a cameraman, and went to the mountains with my friend, shooting a video of his hunting. Only at the very top was a trophy male spotted.Shot at 350 m. Then there was an incredible fall of chamois down the cliff ...

I hunted roe deer with Old Believers in Tuva.

Four hours of waiting for the bear brought me an unexpected trophy - a beautiful moose with great-shaped horns decorated with 16 appendages! I would like to thank Vyacheslav and Viktor Grigoriev for their help in carrying out this hunt.

My first hunt in Kamchatka took place back in 2005. We hunted in the area of the Icha River. The weather was rainy and the river level was quite high. Hunting took place from the approach in the spawning grounds, where bears were used to fish. I got the bear with one shot from a distance of about 30 meters, after which the male fell into the water and we had to  pulled  it out of the water with great difficulty. 2 meters 80 cm was quite a good result.

My hunting for the Czech mouflon took place on the principle of "Came, saw, shot"  as well as the absolute majority of European hunts. We hiked not for a long on forested slopes, in a private hunting farm near Brno. We came a clearing with a feeder where a herd of mouflons was, then  a short target selection and a simple shot at 200 meters.

I hunted independently a roe deer rut near a country house in the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow region.

We walked 17 km through mountainous terrain during that hunt. The guides worked very smoothly, they found a group of Marhors,  and corrected our movements by radio. It helped us to approach  450 meters. Then it was possible to reduce the distance to the target of 318 meters. A good shot and the beast was taken. In March 2022, I firmly decided to visit the annual hunting fair in Madrid for the first time. But I wanted to make the most of my trip to Spain. Augusto Rodriguez Zafra, who organized my hunt in the spring of 2021, has helped me to make up a detailed plan and schedule for that spring trip to his country. Since I didn't have any extra time, the schedule turned out to be very tight, and I hoped that everything would go well, without unpleasant surprises. On March 18, I landed in Madrid, where Augusto met me. I carefully studied in his company all the aspects of the hunting fair that interested me. Then we went by car to Almeria province, and arrived at our hotel six hours later, when it was already dark. First of all, I wanted to get the "South-east Mountain goat". Early in the morning, a local professional guide waited for us at the hotel. He was an elderly gentleman in excellent physical shape, energetic and temperamental, a typical Spaniard. We made a thorough hunting plan together. Since I came to Spain without my own weapon, Augusto provided me with his Blaser R8 rifle, caliber 270 WSM. In one hour’s, drive, we stopped and I took a few control shots. Then we set off on foot and an hour later noticed a group of animals at a distance of 400 meters, including several males suitable for us. The sun was shining brightly, but it was quite windy. So, we decided to approach the animals in a circle, hoping to get as close as possible so that I wouldn't miss from someone else's rifle. We could not get closer to the target than 300 meters despite numerous attempts, because the plateau did not allow us to move stealthily. I fired twice, and both missed, I didn't even really understand the reason. Most likely, I lacked confidence when using someone else's weapon, I didn't hit anyone. After lunch, we moved to the next slope. In an hour later we found a new group of males. It was easier to sneak up on them. We shortened the distance to 200 meters under Augusto's guidance, I made an accurate shot and got a 9-year-old male. In the evening, we celebrated the successful hunt at a local restaurant, and treated delicious food and wonderful wine. I was deprived of such pleasure for almost a whole year. The next morning, we went to the province of Malaga for the "Ronda mountain goat". We arrived at the place in the afternoon, and moved out onto the mountain slopes, but the sun was scorching mercilessly, and there was no wind at all. We saw only females, not a single suitable male. Probably they all were hiding obviously somewhere in the cool shade. In the morning of the next day, the weather changed a lot, it began to rain and a cold wind rose. We changed the place of hunting, and went to the vicinity of Ronda, hoping to find a suitable specimen. There was only a day and a half left before my flight back home, so Augusto asked local hunters to join our expedition, they walked with binoculars along the mountain slopes in search of animals last night . The cold penetrated to the bone, we had to put on all the clothes we had. The weather conditions resembled Kyrgyzstan, not the south of Spain during the ascent. In the first half of the day, we saw only wild boars, but after lunch we detected a group of goats at a distance of about 700 meters, including one suitable male. We approached them cautiously for a long time, eventually reducing the distance to 235 meters. I fired from a very uncomfortable position, but successfully. Result: I got the 8 years trophy of Ronda goat. This trophy allowed me to receive the "Goats of the World" award for getting of 12 animals. The local huntsmen stay in one km from us and watched our approach to the goal through a telescope. The sound of the shot reached them after the fall of the animal. Augusto did a great job. He prepared and accommodated so many hunting events in my tight deadlines and promptly making adjustments as needed, even organized the help of local hunters so that everything went as well as possible for me, his guest. In the evening of the same day, we had a great rest at the local club of professional hunters, shared our impressions about hunting and adventures in different parts of the world.

We detected them  under the rays of the sun in the early morning. Height was 1950 m . The distance was 220m.

We know that the habitat of the Yakutia snow sheep passes through the Khabarovsk Territory, we have decided to go to the north of the Okhotsk district closer to Yakutia. Sergey Khromykh has already organized hunts in that area. We found sheep only on the tenth kilometer of our route in the first day of hunting. Nine large males climbed into the mountains after feeding. We decided to wait for their evening descent. At around 5 pm, the sheep appeared at the top, but did not go down for some reason. We stayed on the place for another hour and expected for their descent, but the rams remained at the top. Dusk was approaching and we decided to return to the camp to continue hunting the next day. The rain the next day disrupted our plans, and we decided to rest in the camp. On the third day, the guides came out earlier and Victor found three sheep by our approach. It was possible to approach them 466 m by the riverbed, but while we were choosing a place for shooting, the sheep started moving. I decided to shoot at the departing and hit one at a distance of 571 meters. It became a good trophy. I thank all the participants and organizers of this hunt.

I got a 9 years old Tur. The height was 3200m. Shot was done at 120 m height.

My route was so. Moscow - Yakutsk, then a ferry across the Lena River, the road to Khandyga and a ferry across the Aldan River again. Then the path ran along the "Road on Bones" - the Kolyma highway. The last part of the trip was a four-hour transfer by airboat along the Tura River and we arrived at the base camp. I spent about four days on the way for my first mountain trophy - the Yakut snow sheep. There were climbing to a height of 2100m and lots of descent and ascent again. To be honest, I was confused about how many ascents and descents we made in order to shorten the distance. At last, we managed to approach the rams at 454 m. After that, my friend and I managed to get our trophies with the first shots. After the photoshoot, we had to hurry down, as the sun was rapidly going behind the mountains. We were descending in complete darkness, with lanterns, and that added to the charm of the story with my first mountain trophy! After descending, I remembered the words of an experienced hunter before my trip - Do not think that it will be easy there. Be careful. There are serious MOUNTAINS in Yakutia too!

On August 19, 2022 I flew to Yakutsk at the invitation of Afanasy Shishigin. We moved to the hunting area immediately. So, we drove about 700 km by off-road car. Then we crossed Lena and Aldan by ferries, drove by airboat to the first Base, had a short rest and transfer further by airboat to a mobile camp, located in the Okhotsk district of the Khabarovsk, on the territory on the banks of the Ulbey River. On the first day of hunting, we detected a group of three sheep and one single male. It was hard to determine the trophy qualities in rainy weather and poor visibility. We decided to approach the lonely male. I shot from 100 m distance. So, I got a good trophy of the Okhotsk snow sheep of 15 years old. Thanks to the huntsmen - Maxim Balaev and Alexey Klyushkin.
