Russian Super Cup

The Buryat monster!

I just got back from Buryatia. I managed to get a very good trophy of Siberian brown bear. I hunted with a bait from the hunting platform. I shot a Clb 9.3/62 with a Blazer p 8 with the day sight at dusk. A rare occasion in my life when I needed, or to be more precise, it was just necessary to have an backlight on the rifle scope.

Tleulin Timur's hunt for Sierra Nevada ibex in Spain

Took another trophy of Sierra Nevada ibex in Spain, this time near the city of Granada. It was a very difficult hunt, 178 floors, 23 thousand steps over the mountains from 7 am to 3 pm. There were different groups of ibex, but we could only approach one group of males and females. We chose a worthy one, and I shot from a distance of 220 meters. From the first shot, the ibex fell to the ground without movement because of the shot from the 300 caliber. Not everyone understood from behind the branches whether we got him or not. We waited, when the animals left, but they left not at once, without understanding what had happened and where the shot came from and why their "friend" was lying. We went there 15-20 minutes later, and saw a ibex lying there, and we were very happy about it!

Hunting in Spain for the Cantabrian chamois

I had never hunted in Spain. But I knew I had to start. For the May holidays I decided to go and hunt two chamois and a mouflon. The mountains are not high, but all the same it is necessary to ascend a lot. In total we had walked 12 kilometers in one day. We started from a height of 600 m, and shot at an altitude of 1460 m. We saw a lot of animals and all of them were in groups. In the canyon we noticed a lonely male. Approached at a distance of 240 meters, angle +5 degrees. The shot hit the target. Cantrabian chamois jumped down, stopped and rolled. The male was 9-10 years old. The sun this day did not mercy us. This is Spain, after all. The organization of the hunt was at a high level!

Yakutia snow sheep hunted in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)

The hunt took place in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The hunting lands are located on the border with the Khabarovsk Territory. Logistics is not the fastest, but it gives you the opportunity to enjoy the local beauty and drive along one of the most famous routes of our country - Kolyma. As a matter of fact, positive impressions of the trip can already be obtained on the way. The hunting land is incredibly huge (more than 500,000 hectares), as well as Yakutia itself. I was impressed by the conditions and the number of worthy trophies. You need to drive only a few km away from the base camp and different gorges are spread out in front of you, in each of which there are sheep. To be honest, at first our eyes ran away which one to choose. Despite the fact that there were three hunters in the group, we all got decent trophies on the first day. Accommodatoin in the base camp is more decent than in some sanatoriums: there is a sauna, and fresh-built wooden houses with a stove and new bed linen, a separate photo zone and a kitchen. I was also impressed by the huge variety of specialized equipment (aero plane, Ural, various all-terrain vehicles). It is worth saying about the equipment of the guides: they all have headphones, camouflage Western brands, binoculars with a rangefinder!!!! In my opinion, it's not just hunting, but a spa resort with an additional option - hunting. I sincerely wish the team further success and prosperity to the whole farm. If you want to hunt with impressive emotions, then you definitely go to Fantasy in Yakutia!

Nepal. Himalayan tahr

During the hunt in Nepal we walked about 90 km. Changed 7 camps. The height difference was from 3200 to 4650 meters. Thar lives in very steep cliffs, sometimes overgrown with trees and shrubs. It is very difficult to walk on such mountains. A group of tahrs were found grazing in the thicket of bushes at an altitude of 3,600 meters. Among them one stood out with special trophy qualities. We managed to get close to a distance of 210 meters. The tahr lay down with one shot. Angle -20 degrees. I shot from the opposite peak of the mountain. Himalayan tahr, 12 years old. It was a very difficult hunt.

Hunting for Blue Sheep and Himalayan Tahr in Nepal

The hunt took place between November 24 and December 3, 2022. We were hunting in the Dorpathan National Game Reserve. The hunting place was under Mount Hiunchuli 5922 meters above sea level. I got a trophy of a Blue sheep on November 28 at an altitude of 4350 meters above sea level. The weather was clear and the conditions for hunting were ideal. It was cold in the morning, the frost was -5 degrees, and in the afternoon it was about +12 degrees. I got the Himalayan tahr a day later at an altitude of 3300 meters above sea level. Hunting was physically difficult, but I had no problems. thanks to the gradual and long pass to the place of hunting sheep and my own good condition. The reserve was relatively well preserved, but it was more difficult to hunt tar because it was hunted in forests and on rocks. The base camp was located at an altitude of 2800 meters above sea level. Twenty three sherpas were waiting for me upon my arrival. Every morning I went with 4 guides while other support staff, packed up the camp and followed us to another high-altitude camp. We slept in tents but the service was exclusive and at a high level!!!! In the evening, I was completely surprised by the three-course menu. The chef was present all the time!!!! Every day we saw wild game and had the opportunity to shoot. I didn't succeed in it for two days, and once I missed the Tahr at a distance of 340 meters. On the third day we spent the night at an altitude of 4100 meters above sea level. It was dark when we went hunting for a Blue sheep. After about two hours of hiking , we found a group of two males at a greater distance. I couldn't shoot because the animals were moving. We decided to climb the ridge and take a look. After about 20 minutes, we observed a group of two rams, and then five more large males joined. After a while, my guide MAN told me that there was an old male and he literally said "world record". He had never seen such a ram before......Choose the right strategy and hit the road. We should walk all day to see the rams from the top. At 2 pm we saw two sheep, although it was not the biggest one we saw in the morning, the guide gave the command to shoot, and suddenly we saw other sheep and our big one!!!! They were moving towards us and stopped about two hundred meters away. I fired, then a second time and the guide reported that it was wounded. At last I took it. Then we took the trophy and went down. The creep descend about 500 meters waited for us. The first task was completed. !!!! The next morning we moved to another altitude level. Two hours later we saw a Himalayan tahr, which was feeding under a rock. We were searching for it for about 3 hours and nothing. At last, we decided to go down below and look at the rocks from below. As the guide detected the animal when we was descending. The Tahr was retreating into the gorge. It walked about 210 meters and stopped for a moment. I took the carbine and fired right from my hand. It fell off a cliff. We found it in about an hour later and it was a great relief. The Blue sheep and the Himalayan Tahr turned out to be very worthy trophies. They both were 13 years old. So far it has been one of the most successful hunts for me. I can only recommend the service and professionalism of the organizer of the Global Safari in Nepal Pro. LLC. The staff and general service were at a high level. The friendly nature of Nepalese is unforgettable. Thank you friend Samsher Poruzhuly!!!!

Mid-Caucasian Tur

On 8 November 2022 we were hunting in the Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia. We went out for hunting at 3 a.m., we noticed a decent group of turs only at 15:00 at a distance of 612 m. We decided to shoot although there was a very strong gusty wind, an angle of 38 degrees. After measuring all the indicators and calculating corrections, I fired a shot, it was an accurate hit, but unfortunately the tur fell deep into the gorge. That day it was impossible to reach the tur as it was getting dark and it was very dangerous to go down to the trophy without insurance. I also had to fly home the next day. So I didn't see my trophy in the mountains. A day later, Kamal and Novruz, our huntsmen, friends and just wonderful people (special thanks to them for their professionalism, hospitality and humanity), went down to the gorge and got my long-awaited trophy.

Hunting for Dagestan tur in Ossetia

This was my second visit to the hunting of the Dagestan tur. The first time was unlucky. I came purely for luck. We were lucky  in this visit, both with the weather and with the guides. Early in the morning we went to the area where the guides saw a group of males and females in the evening.  There was one male stood out for his trophy qualities. The distance was 600 meters, the angle was +15 degrees. Three shots (one miss) and the Dagestan tur rolled down.
