The hunt took place between November 24 and December 3, 2022. We were hunting in the Dorpathan National Game Reserve. The hunting place was under Mount Hiunchuli 5922 meters above sea level. I got a trophy of a Blue sheep on November 28 at an altitude of 4350 meters above sea level. The weather was clear and the conditions for hunting were ideal. It was cold in the morning, the frost was -5 degrees, and in the afternoon it was about +12 degrees. I got the Himalayan tahr a day later at an altitude of 3300 meters above sea level. Hunting was physically difficult, but I had no problems. thanks to the gradual and long pass to the place of hunting sheep and my own good condition. The reserve was relatively well preserved, but it was more difficult to hunt tar because it was hunted in forests and on rocks. The base camp was located at an altitude of 2800 meters above sea level. Twenty three sherpas were waiting for me upon my arrival. Every morning I went with 4 guides while other support staff, packed up the camp and followed us to another high-altitude camp. We slept in tents but the service was exclusive and at a high level!!!! In the evening, I was completely surprised by the three-course menu. The chef was present all the time!!!! Every day we saw wild game and had the opportunity to shoot. I didn't succeed in it for two days, and once I missed the Tahr at a distance of 340 meters. On the third day we spent the night at an altitude of 4100 meters above sea level. It was dark when we went hunting for a Blue sheep. After about two hours of hiking , we found a group of two males at a greater distance. I couldn't shoot because the animals were moving. We decided to climb the ridge and take a look. After about 20 minutes, we observed a group of two rams, and then five more large males joined. After a while, my guide MAN told me that there was an old male and he literally said "world record". He had never seen such a ram before......Choose the right strategy and hit the road. We should walk all day to see the rams from the top. At 2 pm we saw two sheep, although it was not the biggest one we saw in the morning, the guide gave the command to shoot, and suddenly we saw other sheep and our big one!!!! They were moving towards us and stopped about two hundred meters away. I fired, then a second time and the guide reported that it was wounded. At last I took it. Then we took the trophy and went down. The creep descend about 500 meters waited for us. The first task was completed. !!!! The next morning we moved to another altitude level. Two hours later we saw a Himalayan tahr, which was feeding under a rock. We were searching for it for about 3 hours and nothing. At last, we decided to go down below and look at the rocks from below. As the guide detected the animal when we was descending. The Tahr was retreating into the gorge. It walked about 210 meters and stopped for a moment. I took the carbine and fired right from my hand. It fell off a cliff. We found it in about an hour later and it was a great relief. The Blue sheep and the Himalayan Tahr turned out to be very worthy trophies. They both were 13 years old. So far it has been one of the most successful hunts for me. I can only recommend the service and professionalism of the organizer of the Global Safari in Nepal Pro. LLC. The staff and general service were at a high level. The friendly nature of Nepalese is unforgettable. Thank you friend Samsher Poruzhuly!!!!
