Russian Super Cup

Caucasian bear in Dagestan

Got two Caucasian bears on May 30 in the village of Khnov, Dagestan. Very fast hunting. One day trip there, a day and a half of hunting and one day back. Excellent organization. I recommend it to everybody. The organizer of the hunt is Veselov Artem, the company Profihant. On-site organizer - Elson Makhmudov. Thank you very much to all who participated in the organization and the hunt.

Tian Shan Argali

Got on the second day the best argali we had seen in several groups that we found in that place. It was cold, up to -20 С at night, we spent the night in tents. Distance 550 m.

European roe deer in the Oryol region

I got a European roe deer in the Mtsensk district of the Oryol region. I lacked one trophy for the nomination "Russian Super Cup 30" of the Mountain Hunters Club. I shot from 276 m, the first two times I missed. The ibex kept grazing. After the third shot the ibex fell down. Great hunt! Thanks for the organization to Alexander Borisovich!

Dagestan tur

At the beginning of the climb I fell off the horse with my back to the carbine, my back hurt a lot and I could not hold on the saddle any longer, so I climbed and descended on foot. We hunted in the vicinity of the camp set up at the altitude, because it was difficult to move further because of the injury. On the first day I shot a small tur without any problems (the biggest one I had seen in the herd). Two problems prevented me from continuing the hunt: the absolute ignorance of the guides of the Russian and English languages and, accordingly, unclear prospects for me. And also the unpreparedness of the local equipment for the weather conditions - quite high tourist tents that were literally blown away at night by a strong wind, instead of sleeping I mostly caught and tried to hold on to the tent. So I decided to end the hunt.

Gobi Ibex

My closest shot in a mountain hunt. Saw a group of three ibexes up there, one of them was acceptable as a trophy. We started climbing up to an area handy for a shot. It should have been about 300 m to them. While climbing, the ibexes disappeared from sight. The observer from the opposite side said that he could not see the ibex on the opposite slope. We started cautiously moving along the rocky ridge and were ready for a quick shot. The goats were resting in the rocks and popped right out from under us. I shot the bigger one running from about 20 meters.
