Mountain Goat

My first North American hunt was organised from my main agent and outfitter Huntgeo. After a 3 hour horse back ride we was starting to glassing the mountains in front of us. We found very quick two nice billies. The climbing was not easy but with the perfect guiding from our guide we came to a spot 810 yards away from the billies. I had my custom made gun from the gun smith Fanzoj from Austria with me. He had build the single shot gun exactly how i have given him all details. Cal. 338 LM Wind was a light cross wind from the left with 3-4m/s My guide choice the left one from the two mountain goats and this billy was standing perfect and the bullet hit him deadly. After the first mesurement it looks good for a top 10 trophy. Many thx to Huntgeo for the perfect organisation and to my guide Riley and the hole team and to Patrik Fanzoj for build this amazing gun for me

Hunting in the Koryak Highlands

I finished hunting two sheep. Everything went well thanks to decent weather and excellent escorts - Andrey Nechaev and Pavel Panfilov. The hunt was organized by the well-known company of the Turushevs' father and son. The shooting distance is comfortable: 263 and 273 meters.

Mongolian Express

On September 11th we arrived with Ilya Dmitriev in Mongolia. Our goal was hunting, which was organized for us by our "old" friend from the last trip Bayasa Gursed. After arriving to the area of the city of Khovd, we went to the mountains immediately, even without entering the camp, where the scouts found a herd of Altai argali. When we found out the location of the herd, we started climbing. Unfortunately, the sheep sensed the wind and moved to the next slope. So, we had to go around them to get out against the wind. It was worth it, the sheep were right below us in 350-400m. and they fed peacefully. I chose the largest ram and fired a shot from 375 m and with a slope of 20 degrees down. The trophy turned out to be a wonderful eleven-year-old specimen. It took us an hour. The next morning, we moved to another area to hunt the Altai ibex. Hunting turned out to be very fast and simple again thanks to the coordinated actions of the organizers and the scouts. It was just 8:30 am when I fired a shot from 250 m. at a lying ibex, which turned out to be a good nine-year-old male. The next morning, we flew to the city of Gobi-Altai, after arriving in the hunting area, after a three-hour search, I managed to take a nine-year-old Hangai ibex, of average trophy quality. I took the last, fourth trophy on the second day of hunting in the Khankai district. It took us a long time to find the sheep, but we managed to get to 250 m. like all the previous ones, I got it with one shot. Many thanks to Ilya Dmitriev for the great emotions and organization of the trip, as well as to the organizer from the Mongolian side - Bayasa Gursed!!!!!!!

Yakutia snow sheep hunted in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)

The hunt took place in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The hunting lands are located on the border with the Khabarovsk Territory. Logistics is not the fastest, but it gives you the opportunity to enjoy the local beauty and drive along one of the most famous routes of our country - Kolyma. As a matter of fact, positive impressions of the trip can already be obtained on the way. The hunting land is incredibly huge (more than 500,000 hectares), as well as Yakutia itself. I was impressed by the conditions and the number of worthy trophies. You need to drive only a few km away from the base camp and different gorges are spread out in front of you, in each of which there are sheep. To be honest, at first our eyes ran away which one to choose. Despite the fact that there were three hunters in the group, we all got decent trophies on the first day. Accommodatoin in the base camp is more decent than in some sanatoriums: there is a sauna, and fresh-built wooden houses with a stove and new bed linen, a separate photo zone and a kitchen. I was also impressed by the huge variety of specialized equipment (aero plane, Ural, various all-terrain vehicles). It is worth saying about the equipment of the guides: they all have headphones, camouflage Western brands, binoculars with a rangefinder!!!! In my opinion, it's not just hunting, but a spa resort with an additional option - hunting. I sincerely wish the team further success and prosperity to the whole farm. If you want to hunt with impressive emotions, then you definitely go to Fantasy in Yakutia!

CHIBUK - MY DEBUT MOUNTAIN TROPHY

My route was so. Moscow - Yakutsk, then a ferry across the Lena River, the road to Khandyga and a ferry across the Aldan River again. Then the path ran along the "Road on Bones" - the Kolyma highway. The last part of the trip was a four-hour transfer by airboat along the Tura River and we arrived at the base camp. I spent about four days on the way for my first mountain trophy - the Yakut snow sheep. There were climbing to a height of 2100m and lots of descent and ascent again. To be honest, I was confused about how many ascents and descents we made in order to shorten the distance. At last, we managed to approach the rams at 454 m. After that, my friend and I managed to get our trophies with the first shots. After the photoshoot, we had to hurry down, as the sun was rapidly going behind the mountains. We were descending in complete darkness, with lanterns, and that added to the charm of the story with my first mountain trophy! After descending, I remembered the words of an experienced hunter before my trip - Do not think that it will be easy there. Be careful. There are serious MOUNTAINS in Yakutia too!

Hunting for the Yakutia Snow Sheep

I got the trophy on the third day of hunting. The weather was cloudy, sometimes it was short-term rain, the wind gusted up to 10 m / s, height was of 1973 meters. I shot from a distance of 750 meters.

Yakutia Snow Sheep

The hunt took place in the most beautiful mountains of the Ust-May district of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Our group found itself in very rich hunting area after four days of traveling by all types of transport. It took us almost all day to pass around the group of sheep, which we chose through the pipe, then descending, then climbing again along the stone slopes of the opposite mountain.  Step by step, we reduced the distance to 465 meters and leveled the level of the target location to -3. The only shot hit exactly in the heart, the handsome Chubuk lay down on the spot.  The complex of Blaser R93 in 300 Winmag caliber and the NightForce 3.5x15x56 sight did not let me down again!

Okhotsk snow sheep 2022

On August 19, 2022 I flew to Yakutsk at the invitation of Afanasy Shishigin. We moved to the hunting area immediately. So, we drove about 700 km by off-road car. Then we crossed Lena and Aldan by ferries, drove by airboat to the first Base, had a short rest and transfer further by airboat to a mobile camp, located in the Okhotsk district of the Khabarovsk, on the territory on the banks of the Ulbey River. On the first day of hunting, we detected a group of three sheep and one single male. It was hard to determine the trophy qualities in rainy weather and poor visibility. We decided to approach the lonely male. I shot from 100 m distance. So, I got a good trophy of the Okhotsk snow sheep of 15 years old. Thanks to the huntsmen - Maxim Balaev and Alexey Klyushkin.

Siberian roe deer in the Kurgan region

We hunted in the Dalmatovsky district of the Kurgan region. I note the high density of roe deer in that area. There was a great choice of trophy. I shot 3 trophies in one day.

Hunting for Gobi Argali and Gobi Ibex in Mongolia

Finally, I managed to get to Mongolia after two pandemic years to  visit the Gobi Desert once again. That is the area where the Gobi argali and ibexes live in difficult conditions, but quite comfortably.  Hot weather, lack of moisture, a large number of movements by car and on foot made that hunting trip quite tedious, but interesting. I got the ibex  on the second day, in a very inaccessible place, on the topmost tiers of the mountain range. I got a sheep on the third day of hunting from a distance of 850 meters. After the end of the hunt in Gobi, we moved to the Khangai mountain range, where he conducted an exciting deer hunt.

Mid-Caucasian Tur

At the beginning of August, I managed to organize an expedition to the Caucasus once again, in  Karachay Cherkessia  There was  organized a hunt for the Mid Caucasian tur, in the area of the village of Khurzuk. Animals  stay on the topmost tiers of the mountains, at altitudes of about 3000 meters at this time of year. On the third day, I  managed to get an adult male from a distance of 450 meters. After hitting the 338 caliber, the tur ran about 200 meters as if nothing had happened, after which it collapsed on a snow-covered slope.
