Hunting of Tleulin Timur for a barbary sheep in Spain

On January 17, 2023. After getting a Besaite ibex in the morning in Aragon (Teruel), we went straight to Alicante for a Babrary sheep. I noticed it in 10 minutes before sunset, I got a trophy in Spain, from a distance of about 180-200m, with a strong squall wind, after the 4th shot. The trophy is about 9 years old.

Tleulin Timur's hunt for the Beceite ibex in Spain

On January 17, 2023, I hunted in Spain for the Beceite ibex, while the ibex was being tracked, it was raining and hail. The wind was strong, sometimes gusty. A distance was about 120 m from the top of the mountain I detected the trophy near a tree and shot. . The trophy is about 11 years old.

Hunting for the Kuban Tur in the KCR

I got the trophy on November 19, 2022. Age 8 years. The distance is 738 meters.

Hunting in Spain for Ronda ibex

We traveled by car around the entire mountain range at the hunting site and didn't see a worthy trophy. Then we decided to advance to go and to search the animals inside the mountain range on foot. This tactic brought success. We saw a herd of animals on the opposite slope, there was a big old male. Then we ran down, gathered all our strength and made a quick dash up. At one moment, we lost sight of the animals then had overcome the next ascent and found them. The male turned out to be almost at point-blank range in front of us. I shot and got the first gold Rondo trophy in Spain in the last year!!!

Hunting in the south of Tajikistan

We walked about 20 km during that day. For the first time, a small group of males among whom there was a worthy trophy was accidentally scared off. But then the experienced rangers identified the place where they disappeared. We went in from the other side and really found the male we were looking for. I shot at the running up goal at a distance of 250 meters. The age of the Bukhara Urial is 9 years old.

Hunting in Pamir

It was my second time when I went hunting in the Pamirs. For the first time, Argali Brooke could not be found. January is one of the coldest months. The temperature dropped to -50. A group of sheep was slowly removed. The ram was taken from a distance of 650 meters with one shot. The height was 4500 meters. When we were returning to the camp, we found a group of Pamir Ibex. There was one among them with outstanding trophy qualities. The distance to the group was about a kilometer. It was decided to make a shot. The distance of the shot was 1012 meters. It took 2 shots. The ibex rolled down and broke off one horn. As a result , the horns of the Pamir Ibex were 115 cm . A rare specimen in the area.

Siberian Roe Deer Hunting

The duration of the hunt is one day. The distance is 567 meters.

Altay ibex

It turned out to be a simple hunt. We walked about a kilometer, the huntsman noticed a group of ibex. I got down on one knee and folded the sticks in a cross, put a carbine on them, measured the distance with the help of Swarovski DS. It turned out to be 307 meters. The guide got up from behind and saw that I was aiming at the wrong ibex! Get up, you can't see it from the knee! I got up, saw an old male, who prudently hid just below the hillock. Only the head and part of the chest were visible. I tried it with my hands, shaking from side to side. After all, we walked through deep snow for a kilometer. The huntsman offered his shoulder, where I put down the carbine. We both froze, measured the lowering point again and fired. The ibex spun around and disappeared behind a hillock. We smoked, let's go. Found below a hundred meters... A strong beast! Horns 92 cm! A worthy trophy!

Barbary sheep Spain

It was  simple hunting. I used mauser 8x57 carbine. The distance was 170 meters. Visibility was excellent. There was almost no wind. We came across a group of sheep unexpectedly coming out from below on a hillock. They didn't even think of running. I armed and fired. That's all.

My first mouflon, Spain

It was an easy hunting. Roads are everywhere in Spain. They are even to the most remote place. Even the dirt road is quite decent, sometimes better than our asphalt ones. If it's the mountainous one, then you can drive any car not only off road one! We drove to the very peak, unloaded, and went down, under the cheerful incessant conversations of the Spaniards. Neither the guides nor the inspectors thought to lower the volume of the vocal cords in the hunting area! And their vocal cords were strong!) It seemed to me that it was heard in Russia how they were laughing and discussing something constantly! And it wasn't about hunting! They quieted down and began to look out for mouflons only after walking about a kilometer. I don't know why they have done it. Probably they did it because my eyebrows didn't go down, or if they felt the mouflons were close. Indeed, about half an hour later, we saw a small herd in which there were several worthy males. Then there was a short approach, then a shot, an 8x57 Mauser from 200 meters and I did its job and the old male lay down on the rocks...A silver medal for trophy qualities, as it turned out after the measurement! Immediately, my friends turned on their "speakers" already at full power and I had to run to the prey in order not to go deaf. Then, the guides fixed a special tightening tug on the horns, and wrote out a document - they are strict with this! After it we butchered the trophy, then there was the descent to the base, and a delicious, long loud lunch and home. A little boring. It would be completely boring if it were not for the cheerful, never discouraged Spaniards. The number of animals that we saw after the shot and on the way back within one small farm was impressive! I can't say but nature, weather, air and wine!!) The wine we drank there was even tastier than vodka here! My repeated attempts to bring the same wine to St. Petersburg and drink it with the same pleasure as there were unsuccessful!! Changing the place, the weather, the company, even the friends of hunters -did not help!)) Apparently, nature itself, the sun, the grapes from which this wine is made and which grows nearby, adds sensations there! Thanks to Spain and my friend Dani, through his efforts I managed to get several trophies in Spain! But I'll tell about it in other reports.
