Hunting a Dagestan tur in North Ossetia

I took my first tur and my first trophy on the territory of Russia. The weather was: strong wind, snow, rain before the snow, fog in some places. With the first and only shot I took a tur from a distance of 448 m. For three days we hunted in fog, snow and rain. We searched and hunted a chamois for a long time, but unfortunately I could not take it because of the bad weather. I could not take a bear either, although I saw a big bear on another mountain on the other side of the road at a distance of 1300 metres. That is how I travelled to North Ossetia.

Caucasian red deer

On the third day of the hunt I took a Caucasian red deer in North Ossetia. I walked along the Fiagdonsky and Karmadonsky gorges. But on the third day I shot near the village of Gornaya Saniba. The distance was 695 metres. I fired three times and hit twice. But we found the deer the next day. It was a very hard-to-reach place. I thank the company ProfiHant Ltd for the organisation of the hunt, personally Tsare and especially Valera!

West - Caucasian chamois

Two days were planned for this hunt. The first day of the hunt was unsuccessful. Only on the second day, around 17:00, the huntsmen and I saw a chamois by chance. There was little time to think, so I decided to shoot. The shot was successful, but unfortunately it was getting dark and it was impossible to get close to the trophy, so we had to leave without a photo. It was only the next day, when I was at home, that Edigbee informed me that the second huntsman, Ozhai, had found my trophy and sent me a photo.
