There were only two days allotted for the hunt. The first day was unsuccessful due to heavy fog. On the second day, we encountered a group of turs with two males among them. There was no time for hesitation, and I had to take the shot as they were moving away.

The hunt for the Yakutian snow sheep was organised by the famous hunting guide Afanasy Shishigin. On the very first day, the gamekeepers spotted two trophy sheep at a distance of approximately 2-3 km. As a result of our stalking, one of the sheep seemingly disappeared, while the other was found in its original bedding spot. We managed to stalk the animal from a distance of 305 metres. After two shots, an 11-year-old Yakutian snow sheep was taken! I'd like to express my great gratitude to Afanasy and his team for the hunt. Keep up the great work!
