After reviewing information obtained from the Grand Slam Club Ovis regarding the classification of the Skardu markhor in Pakistan as a separate subspecies, it was decided to make the corresponding updates to the CAPRA rating form of the CMH. A new entry, Skardu Markhor (Capra falconeri falconeri skardu), will soon appear in the rating form, and the range of this new subspecies will be described in the "Species of mountain goats" section.
